E 835 SENNHEISER - Live vocal microphone
The Sennheiser E 835 is a robustly built dynamic microphone. Its solid construction and good sound characteristics make this microphone very popular among vocalists and technicians alike. The E 835 has a nice open and clear sound and offers sufficient body thanks to its frequency range of 40 Hz to 16 kHz. A slight peak in the high end ensures that vocals cut through the mix and are easily understood. Due to the cardioid pick-up pattern, the E 835 picks up only the vocals and ignores surrounding sounds. This also contributes to the fact that the microphone is not prone to feedback.
The E 835 can take a beating, thanks to its rugged metal housing. This makes it ideal for the rougher jobs, such as rental and MC work. Sennheiser's handling noise is counteracted by isolating the capsule via a built-in shock-mount system. Finally, the E 835 comes with a handy storage pouch and a microphone clamp.
