LINEAR 7 is deliberately based on the appearance and proven robust mechanics of the LINEAR 5 series, with specific improvements to cabinet details. Both technically and acoustically, the LINEAR 7 loudspeaker family represents a completely new development. The latest generation of high-performance loudspeakers and drivers, specially designed horns, high-impulse Pascal Class-D power amplifiers, FIR filtering and the latest, exceptionally powerful DSP platform with high-resolution converters make the LINEAR 7 family an acoustically precise tool for demanding applications.

The LINEAR 7 112 FA active and network-compatible full-range loudspeaker delivers more sound pressure in the low frequency range thanks to its larger cabinet volume. With the Bass Boost preset optimized for each speaker, the low frequency range can be boosted as desired.

Until recently, only in the price range of large touring systems was it possible to centrally control each mid/high unit, each bass and each stage monitor from the FoH position. Now, with the LINEAR 7 series, this modern and highly efficient workflow can also be achieved in top-end professional point sound sources. Each individual LINEAR 7 speaker in the network is centrally accessible via Mac or PC, and volume, EQ, limiting, delay and polarity can be controlled in detail.

An additional special feature available only with the LINEAR 7 series is that an additional, non-network-compatible active loudspeaker (e.g. from the LINEAR series) can be integrated into the network via DSP-Out and then all parameters can be individually controlled remotely. This ensures that the existing infrastructure retains its value and future-proof capability.

A fully parametric 10-band EQ, high-pass filter, low-pass filter, delay, polarity and limiting are available independently for both the loudspeakers and DSP-Out.
