The uniform cardioid polar pattern provides superior off-axis rejection of unwanted noise, and the large “sweet spot” reduces proximity effect.

Blocks unwanted RF noise from commonly used wireless devices such as cell phones, laptops, and Wi-Fi routers. The Proprietary System has an integrated pop filter and a faraday cage of woven mesh that shields the microphone capsule for clean audio capture.

Shock Mount & removable magnetic pop filter

Included with the SM4 Home Recording Kit and also available separately, shock mount and removable pop filter ward off unwanted noises, including rumble, vibration and plosive “pop” sounds. Combined with the microphone's internal pop filter, the removable pop filter creates a two-stage filtering system that helps dramatically reduce plosives.
